Graham and Katie tackle The Big Sleep from both a film perspective and a pulp one, discussing Bogart’s masculine charm, the ways the movie deviates from the Raymond Chandler book, and female sexual entitlement. Also I just realized that we were both too underslept to […]

Graham and Katie sober up to tackle Paris Is Burning – Graham educates Katie about Madonna co-opting vogueing while she educates him about TERFs. As mentioned in the episode, there are about a million better resources out there than this silly little podcast by two white cis people, so please check out the links Katie […]
Holiday special! Graham shipped up to Boston for the 4th, so he and Katie watched Jaws together at the Brattle Theater. They discuss the film’s depictions of masculinity and economics, plus which movie/TV show has the best married couple, all while battling an oppressive heatwave with the miracle of booze.
Graham and Katie struggle to talk about Tango & Cash without getting sidetracked by discussing better ’80s action movies, real life Vietnam Vets, and the one-and-only Fairuza Balk. It’s uh, kinda all over the place.
Graham and Katie come at Eyes Wide Shut from opposite angles while talking about sexuality, monogamy, and dirty hippie girls. Not recommended for anyone who hasn’t seen the movie as this episode is chock-full of spoilers.
